    10 years. The "technician license" would give us the go for any frequency used on our handheld. You need the "general" for worldwide comms.....

    Anybody been tracking Irma? Crazy it could be stronger than Harvey...category 5 about to hit Puerto Rico and headed for Florida, but will probably be Category 4 then.

    It will affect someone, somewhere for sure. I think FL peeps better GTFO. I got folks in Tampa, and siblings in Orlando. Told them to head up my way, will see. I lived down there, (SE FL, between West Palm, and Ft. Lickerdale) , and GTFO in 2005. 2004 was rough, 2 bad ones knocked us out of power for a week at a time. They are no joke
