    Will an F150 tow your rig any better than the Tundra? I was figuring you'd want at least a 3/4 ton. IIRC, you said you didn't want a diesel which I can't blame you there. They might tow your trailer and Taco effortlessly and get way better fuel economy, but with 4 gallons of oil every time you have to change it and the DEF and all, it's not worth it unless you have no other options (especially since you can't do anything serious with the engine repair-wise without pulling the cab off the truck :der:).

    Edit: I hate to say it, but one of those new Ram 1500s with the little 3.0L diesel would probably tow your rig pretty effortlessly as well. A friend of my uncle has one and they towed the trailer I brought the OGT to you on (pretty much identical to your trailer) to Ohio and back (they were looking at a piece of equipment but didn't end up buying it) and he said it ran like there wasn't even a trailer hooked up to it.

    The newer f150s (2015+) with either the 5.0 or the bigger v6 ecoboost both have 10k+ pounds of towing capabilities (with the 3.73 axle ratios) which is only about 2k less than the Chevy 2500. The tundra's capacity was only 6800 pounds so it is lacking heavily. And no chance I buy a diesel money pit lol

    :facepalm: :puke::der:

    Haha, takes all kinds, I guess. Chevy has jumped the shark with the ginormous grille...not that Ford is too far behind them on that score, but I always thought Fords had nicer interiors that were more comfortable and felt higher quality than Chevys or GMCs. Don't really have an opinion about Rams, since I never knew anybody that had one that I rode in or got to drive.

    Not that it applies to modern versions, but my '89 F150 single cab long bed Custom (base model with customer selected extras...any body remember back when they'd build a truck to your spec, instead of forcing a bunch of shit on you you don't want with an option package to get the option you DO want?) with the vinyl bench seat was more comfortable on road trips than my Grandfather's '86 or so (don't remember for sure what year it was) Suburban with the plush cloth captain's chairs.

    FREE grill from 2016 TRD off-road. I changed it at about 1k miles, some minor blemishes but in very good condition. No broken tabs. I won't ship, you have to pick it up from me in Miami (Pinecrest). Let me know within a week or it's going to the dump.

    I'm not a new truck guy at all but the Fords outshine the GM trucks at every level. The only reason I would consider the GM trucks would be the engine and how easy it is to work on. If you go with the Ford, get the 5.0.

    The Chevrolet may have a higher towing capacity, but they are dogs with anything over 7k pounds.
