What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Congrats! Pictures or it didn't happen! And, hello TacomaWorld, goodbye wallet!

 

On a side note, one of the tabs on the grill badge broke while I was prepping it. Was about to toss it when I remembered I had some Q-Bond. I purchased this stuff from a local auto paint place while waiting. I was impressed by the demo they had setup on the counter. Basically a few items that had been glued to a plastic base, and had cured to something resembling granite. Anyway the stuff worked great on the tab, which is great considering super glue doesn't work at all on this type of plastic.
Apparently this stuff can be used to reattach headlight tabs when they snap off (like ours always do).

Made my Taco work this weekend ..
Picked up tiles and supplies . for a kitchen floor..
Hauled the debris away ..
Monday towed my 2 horse bumper pull trailer with two big horses for a trail ride....
I'm tired I wonder how the taco ( 315,000 + miles ) feels ...?

 

Yesterday: Oil change, fixed a broken lock on my cap, wired the heat on my towing mirrors, Hilux illuminated 4WD switch. No pics.

 

X3 my truck has the light flashing maint now as of last week & tpms light cuz I have my spare on!

 

Yeah me too! The highway out west is a straight shot so taking a picture wasn't bad. The maintenance light actually turned on during the trip too so I decided id just change the oil when I got back! The TPMS is on because I put the wheels and tires on from my other truck since they were a new set of Michelins and I didn't really feel like driving a thousand miles with P rated tires when I had a brand new set of E loads.

 

6 new spark plugs...needed them badly!!

 

After installing a new Warn winch about a week ago, I finally got around to stretching the synthetic winch line today. It was spooled on rather loosely. I ran it out as far as it would go, hooked a loaded work cart (golf cart) to the other end and dragged the cart across the parking lot (at work) The line filled the spool to capacity when loose. Now it is noticeably tighter and total spool is slightly less in diameter. It's ready to use! First winch I've owned with synthetic line. So far I'm impressed!

 

Last week my TPMS light came on so I check the tires with the gauge in my truck. When I got home I went to fill up the low tire and used a different gauge but none of the tires were low. So I grabbed a 3rd gauge and found that they all measure very differently. All 3 are from the same tire about 10 seconds apart. What is a better gauge to use that can be trusted. I know the ARB gauge but it there anything else to look at.

Not sure exactly. I've put 170K miles on the truck, and I know that I have changed the plugs twice before...I think these plugs probably had 60-70K miles on them...gap is opened up to >.050"

 

I added RCI door ding protectors for when I'm rolling at the mall. These things are beefy!

Full gas tank mod.
Stretched her legs on the Alpine Tunnel Road outside of Pitkin, CO. Pretty bumpy if any locals are headed out. Real obstacles start about a mile past the Hancock Pass turn. Avalanche did some significant damage a few years ago. I walked that part a little.

 

Sorry for pulling this from so far back... found image on Google. Did you mount the gas can mount to the bed rail? And what did you use?
