Well, I do have room for a few people to camp if they don't mind what might be described as "Natural" campsites.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
If it tracks East of the state, it won't be as bad. If it makes a B-line for the panhandle, OOF.

Good luck to your wife. My fiancee spent 4 days in lock down at the hospital. It was brutal for her.

She wasn't doing her usual things. They floated her to different sections of the hospital to help out. And the patients there were complete dicks.

If Irma hits the Keys, it COULD take out some of the bridges...so I REALLY don't think I would stay down there if I had ANYWHERE ELSE to go!

Popped into a store this AM for a few gallons of water, some peanut butter and canned tuna.

Water in gallon jugs/1L drinking all gone. PB and Tuna mostly gone. Lines at gas stations. And it's over a week out from any action here.

I'll slip out late tonight and fill the vehicles and 10 gallons of cans. Don't have to do much this week, so I'll have lots of fuel for the generator should it be needed. I have impact windows, but I still cover with plywood. Won't bother with that till Sunday if it's still heading our way, cleaning up outside furniture etc at the same time.

Will get all battery powered lights prepped, Anker battery charged up and bathtub sanitized to fill with water. (I'm old school) If the sewers keep running, I can flush with lake water if we lose tap water.

Paddling out with a buddy in a few to make sure the outflow drain on the lake is clear of debris. Just in case.

Which Lake? I lived for years near the corner of Belcher and Druid...then in Pinellas Park right off of Park Blvd and 9th st., then on Pinellas Point Drive.

    Nothing wrong with that.

You're going to miss out on the panic and long lines of people. Oh darn.

We will be staying for the storm no matter how it hits.I tend to evacuate after if required than before. Ive been though a bunch of them (from myrtle beach) so im not all that worried. More worried about the wind damage since we arent in a flood plane, and would like to be around in case someone that wasn't prepared and stays needs something in the hood.
