Bought a set of NEW oem headlights for $60 locally. Seller had these laying in his garage for 2 years..... Got 'em as a result of replacing his originals under Toyota TSB, then a couple weeks later, blew up his engine. He parted out the truck (very rough for low miles) He sold most everything and gave up on selling the rest. He moved em to a Peddlerrs Mall, put a $60 price on em and listed them on Craigslist for $100. I called, he directed me to the store. I was ready to pay $100. Found em with $60 price and jumped on em.

My old ones had the parking light lens melted. (Reason for TSB) I was less than 1000 past mileage limit when I tried to get stealership to replace mine. No go..... Then I was going to order aftermarkets later in the day when I found the CL ad.

Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then.

 

Over the years I've found more bargains as a result of people being so illiterate they didn't know how to write an ad that properly described what they were selling.

This ad referred to the lights as "Toyoto truck front tail lights". Curiousity got the best of me.....Had to know what "front tail lights" were. Could not believe my luck when I found out what he was selling!
