I have also had good dealings with Wheelers

They called me the day I placed an order to let me know they were back ordered and would be 1-2 weeks before shipping out

Also, they called the day they received the shipment to let me know they were on the way.

    Good people

Just wanted to share an observation or two about driving the truck after cleaning the TB and MAF. I noticed initially it was idling at a much higher RPM (around 1.1k) instead of the sub 1k it was previously. I chalked it up to the ECU needing to adjust to the newly cleaned hardware. Which leads to the first question. How long does it take the ECU to relearn and adjust? It seemed by the time I got to work, (after about an hour drive) it was idling much lower and smoother (about 500-600 RPM). I also noticed (no proof, just butt dyno results) the truck seems to have more pep, accelerates quicker and requires less foot on the gas to cruise at speed. I am interested to see if I have any noticeable gains in the MPG's at my next fill up.

Overall, I highly recommend doing this rather simple maintenance task! The truck runs SO much better now!!

after putting 250 miles on the new gears, milage has remained roughly the same, maybe a tad bit better for my daily commute @fatfurious2 what was your take on your 4.56.

didnt realize the new 3rd gen manuals come with a 4.56

Yeah, It would spike to about 1500 rpms and then drop after a few seconds to sub 1k before the cleaning. Right after it was constantly idling (after the initial start up spike) at 1100-1200 rpms.

I still havent weighed my truck. Maybe tomorrow, as Ive located some scales.

I have lower RPMs in the city, higher on highway. at first I was getting about 15 city, but that is averaging out to be about 16 highway/14 city. Id still say that is a win for all of my armor, bumpers, accessories, for a DD. I get a range of over 200 miles to a tank of gas.
