Good to know you were able to get the upsized tire in the spare location. Thanks!

FWIW, the info I could find said these are 2.6" greater diameter and 4lbs heavier (46lbs) vs. OEM OR tires. Not sure I believe the weight difference.

I picked up some gen2 oem steelies I hope to use to mount 255 85 16s on my '17 SR5. Anyone tried that yet? I live 10 miles from windrock park, so I want to play.

I highly doubt they're that light. I'd guess more around 55lbs since my old E 255/80r17 maxx are around 58 lbs.

I saw numerous places list the weight at 42. Then just checked Goodyear and they have it as 35.

They have/had quite a few versions of that tire...
I suspect the ones at 42 lbs are 'different' than oem. IIRC, the Canada made tire is what Toyota was using and they differed from the US made by about 5 lbs.

This is what I have on an SR.
If I can fit with my stock suspension, I think it's the way I'd like to go.

Just a little confusion on my end, but is that the OEM spec, or yours?

That's a question for @Tacos2016 who I cited and got that information from. Maybe he can tell you what his source was

Could a dealership tune the computer for the larger tires?
