    Well the tent is very lightweight, It pretty much just is like a big sheet that is tailored to fit.
    I do not see why this would not work well enough on a soft topper to give you the shelter walls and mesh screens that this tent offers.
    It actually works great on trucks like 4runners or land cruisers as well aside from pickup beds with caps on them.
