So I just purchased an icon stage 1 lift and had it installed by my local 4x4 parts store here and noticed they left the rear spacer block on the leaf springs installed from my old leveling kit. since the stage 1 kit is supposed to go up to 3.5 inches do I need to keep that rear block installed? or can I remove it?

Will the icon rear shocks have enough lift to keep it at the height it is now? or will I need to keep the shitty spacer in, I feel like it is hindering the ride quality. I have Toyo MTs 285/75/16.

The rear shocks wont provide any lift

Did the kit come with Add A Leafs for the back?

Shocks don't provide any lift. The blocks are the only thing keeping your rear end from being stock height.

Doesn't the stage 1 come with a single leaf AAL?

Ah okay, thanks. New to the suspension game.

That's the stage 2. Stage 1 comes with the coilovers and rear shocks only.

    Gotcha.

Then you're SOL. You could try a 3 leaf progressive AAL but I'm not sure what lift height you need in the rear or what your shocks allow for. You'll see about 2" with the above AAL.

Thought so. I'm going to look into some leaf packs. Thanks again.

They aal will add 1.5 in lift without overload with it is about 2-2.25. The aal rides better than with stock leaf pack worth the investment.

    .5"

Literally the width of the leaf itself is the difference in height.

Mine added 1.5 after measuring but it sits perfectly level with the front.
