Lol, looks like mobtown has a plate bumper that supports the bsm. I really was hoping for a high clearance one though, maybe I'll wait.

They should have an option for a hidden hitch receiver. I have a standard Relentless rear bumper and my hitch receiver is behind the plate..

Yeah i think it will be a bit before i can get to regear and 35s on my truck.

    Truck stuff
It is thicker. The tail gate cap is about 2x the thickness.

Ok so how does that prevent you from getting a hidden hitch mount??? Are you saying that the tailgate is so thick that it would hit the hitch or the ball??

It was the way they designed their bumper. I quoted their reason a few posts back. I'm talking to mobtown right now about his design. His is the best looking plate bumper so far in my opinion but he clarified no bsm support and high clearance is not ready yet. Guess I'll just have to wait.

I saw that but it's ugly how it hangs low, the idea is for clearance and that one seems lower than stock. I don't mind scraping steel but sometimes that shit is the difference between stuck and not stuck when your in the rocks. Mobtown has a 15% off sale right now. Expensive decisions lol.

Last I checked there is only one being made that supports the BSM. And looks hella ugly. I think another fab (pelfry mabye?) said they supported them but basically just let them mount below the bumper. Its my understanding that the sensors wont work through steel which is why most fabs just ignore it. The one solution I saw had plastic inserts on the corners which works. Just the rest of the bumper was ugly.

Well according to Pelfreybilt it won't signal through steel. Their bumper isn't bad either but I'll look at the mobtown one

Pretty sure my impulse buy finger is stronger than my wait feature and I'll get the Mobtown.

I am constantly watching for news on mobtowns high clearance. I doubt it will look as good as the steel one they have now but I am hoping it does. I need to clear up some debt and save up before I can afford a HC rear so waiting is ok until I f*ck up my stock bumper. Came close doing it in TN over the weekend.
