    yup. I remember it was either matthew or the big rain even in 2015, every station on ji and in Charleston was fresh out of gas. the only place I found it was at the pilot up in goose creek that sits directly beside the dispensary. people were sitting in gas station parking lots for literal days waiting on a truck to get there. as soon as one did show up, half the town would show up to top off their tanks that were already damn near full and drain the station in less than an hour. stupidity.

    I slept through a "mini hurricane" on Sunday in Santa Barbara. Apparently it was really bad. A bunch of boats in the harbor and out sailing capsized. Divers pulled a body out of the harbor and started CPR (I never saw an update on it). When I drove my friends to the Amtrak station yesterday, in downtown SB, it was a disaster. Broken trees everywhere. There was cleanup crews all around.

    The worst part: it caused a power outage and ended up closing the place we were going to for happy hour for the rest of the day on Sunday!
