Nice, did you have to do anything custom to make them fit on the pro grille or do they mount up perfectly with brackets? Thanks

So... I went to my dealer to have my first one (Toyotacare) done at around 5k and they said that I'd have to pay for it because I had not reached the 10k mark yet. I assumed that it was also based on time - not just miles. Is this what others are experiencing? I suppose I'm old school and don't trust the 10k interval. I decided to just do the 5k change myself and bring her back in sometime this winter for the free one. Maybe I just don't drive enough.

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
Toyota care is every 5k miles
So you should have gotten the 5k maintenance done for free

Had my first full service and oil change at 4993 miles done yesterday 9/4/17 and it was covered by Toyotacare.

Cannot recall. Look at post 112 in thread EASY tweeter upgrade. I listed everything there. Best I can recall the boxes were black and yellow if that is any help.

OK - thanks. They did do all the other things I asked for. Rotate tires...etc.

They will change it at 5k but it takes away your 10k oil change. Had my 1st oil change done at 2nd service at 8.5k. I am at 14.5k now and will get 2nd change done at next service around 16k. After that I will do it myself every 7.5k. I will hit 24 months Jan 2nd so the free stuff is almost done.

This looks great! Is there any downside to doing a block in the rear?
Any need to change the U-Bolt, or still stock?

Definitely saved as I start to research my budget options with 5100 in the front. I was considering just doing 1.1" in the front, but don't want to sacrifice cargo/towing ability in the back and having reverse rake.

Yes, all that should be done every 5k...I change my oil every 5k for peace of mind. Some say it's a waste of money but I plan on keeping mine for quite awhile. Well maybe. If the Raptor Ranger comes to exist with good reviews and looks, well see??? Love my Tacoma tho.

Yes - same here. I drove my '96 Taco to the Moon (250k miles) before it finally succumbed to frame rust. I plan on doing the same with this one if I can. A few more dollars spent on the cheapest insurance you can buy is well worth it IMO. Thanks everyone for your input.

    Today I went from this:

    To this:

MB 352's (really liked the SCS Ray 10's but never caught it at the right time). All together with new lugs, TPMS swapped out and mounted balanced etc from Discount Tire was $450, after their Labor Day mail in rebates. really like the look it gave and have zero buyers remorse.

Tepui RTT and Voodoo Mid Rack. I'm actually gonna sell the rack if you're interested. Only used twice for camping. Bought it in July.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
