Changing Headlights- Thinking About Painting Grille Insert- Need Some Input

Guys-

'02 Xtra Cab, TRD OR, 4x4 in Lunar Mist

Currently have OME suspension lift on 33" Hercules MT's and have various "TRD Red" highlights on the under side of the truck. I have powder coated Tundra Brakes, Red SS Brake Lines, red rotors, Custom Painted red sway bar, and various other small bits and pieces.

I'm doing a total headlight/fog-light replacement and was thinking about painting the grille insert (that goes around the headlights) red. I was going to re-paint the black grille so it looks shiny/new and was thinking about painting the Toyota emblem red as well. I have all the paint, and all the stuff I need, so it's just a matter of doing it at this point.

Does anybody have any pictures of a different color insert? I've looked high and low, and can't find anything... Which maybe no one has done it because it will look like poop...

Just going to do something a little different and give it a more "custom" type of TRD Red look.

I am totally open to suggestion here and figured I'd reach out to the TW crew to get their input.

I have different color of my inserts, but I'm afraid it is not what you are looking for (not even the same year/headlights version)

 

what kind of inserts are those, or did you put those lenses on, it looks really good

 

Original inserts modified to accept OSRAM LED DRIVING PX4 DRL. DRL are required to use in Poland (or using low beam if car does not have DRL) so I converted useless inserts into functional DRL. That location of DRL gave me the actual OEM look.
