That sucks!!! Had a shop forget to tighten right rear on my Gwagen ! Got on freeway on ramp when it flew past me! The dealer was great at taking care of it and the considerable damage. Just glad my wife was not driving it as its her rig.

I'm sure they will take care of everything. Good thing it happened right there .

Thanks guys!- its like having a new truck. Dealer was good on fixing it. The body paint is probally the best ive seen. Better than oem. For $ 175 they fixed every dent on the truck. I wasnt going to complain about the charge as i easily had 20+ dents. And they also let me keep the old rims & tires which ill flip the 3 as spares on the forums since they are impossible to find. Oh and they buffed & waxed the whole truck.

This makes me so happy that the dealer owned up to everything and your happy. I can't imagine having to go through that experience... but all is well in the end.

It's kind of funny what a dealer will do :). Especially in the IP's case when it happened right on the lot!!! Mistakes are made in my case it worked out ok even tho I was 4 miles away . Just is strange seeing your damn tire fly in front of you as you hear the bang of the rear hitting the ground at 45mph !

So i might be just hearing things but i think i hear a light howl from the rear diff when driving. Is it possible to mess up the diff if the hub dragged on the ground for 10 feet and the other wheel drive ? The truck, has an lsd / 09 sport 4x4

If anything got damaged it might be a wheel bearing from the drop to the ground. Wait a little while until it makes more noise and take it back to them. Also your lsd is brake actuated so that would not be damaged.

Holy sh*t. Can i not catch a break. Alignment was done at a different place. They scratched 3 out of 4 beadlock lips from their alignment gear.

Had to. They even jacked the alignment and said their printer was broke.

Got it on the new hunter and found they even jacked up the allignment.

The old hawk eye targets clamp to the wheel. Scratches happen all the time when a tech is in a hurry and aftermarket wheels come into play. Especially when the lip of the tire is flush with the wheel. The elites clamp to the tire. No damage can be done with those.
