I have an appointment tomorrow to have my frame inspected. My frame is pretty rusty. Especially at the welded connection points. I wonder what they will charge to replace my after market lift kit if the frame has to be replaced.

Mention it to the Service Manager when you see them tomorrow. It's been said that if it has to come off during replacement anyways, then they don't charge. But, it's ultimately up to the Dealer performing the work.

Rustytacoma, What year is your Tacoma and in what state do you live?
Hang in there, sounds like you are on the way to getting it repaired.

It failed the inspection around mid-july. I posted when it failed but it'll be lost in the 50 pages
No problem! Glad I could help! I'll post here when my parts come in and take some pics of the work if I can. Even though it's not my DD, I'm not enjoying the waiting game lol

I’ve read this entire thread and haven’t seen this asked or answered, if it passes once can you still take it back within the 12 years/one year period and have it reinspected? I was under my 09today and while it’s got some pretty serious rust (much more than surface rust) I couldn’t find any actual holes so I’m afraid it’s going to pass, even though it’s almost definitely going to fail eventually.

My understanding is that since it's a Warranty Enhancement Program, if it fails within the 12 years since date of first use, it's covered.

But if you get the CRC do you give up your rights to a frame replacement down the road?

I'm starting to figure out how to drive it, finally. The 3rd gen is a dog within the city when left in Drive (D), so I've started shifting manually unless I'm on the highway to keep it from shifting prematurely. Ran 93 in it before the fuel price hike and got 25.3 mpg(40.7 kpg). It's more car like so it's comfortable but I would much rather have my older, 2nd gen.
@ about 8400 km on it now.
I went up there this evening and the Parts Manager said they were still waiting on parts and seemed genuinely aggravated at Corporate that they haven't sent out the parts. I guess Corporate told her it was only gonna take 2 weeks...

I believe it was stated that your allowed an annual inspection up to the 12 years from first use.
My truck was from Massachusetts and started showing holes about 2 years ago.
Beings your truck is a couple years newer than mine I'd say it shouldn't be long before you have something showing up.

RustyTaco had his frame coated prior to replacement.
