Was just looking at Midway and Midsouth for .350 Mag brass---UNAVAILABLE!
What they had listed was priced at $78.99 per hundred for Remington brass, $47.99 per 25 for Norma brass ($191.96 per hundred ), but both were sold out and no longer available.
Looks like Jim better buy my stash of it when I croak!!!!
I already told him that if he and his dad ever go to auctions, yard sales, etc., and see either brass or factory loaded .350 ammo, buy it if it's not a totally ridiculous price. Remington may make a run of it again, but they also might not, same for the 6.5 Rem. Mag. plus some other calibers.

Looks like like brass is turning into gold, at least .350 Mag brass is.

 

Just got back from my old buddies place that told me about the 600 at Cabela's. He also has a 600 .350 Mag., which was mine and I traded him for a 660 .350 Mag., so I could trade the 660 .350 Mag. to another guy for a 600 6.5 Mag.! It all worked out!
Well anyway, he told me he also has over 500 brand new brass for it plus some boxes of factory shells.
At least I know he won't be bugging me for any of mine!

On page 68 of the 60 yr.+ thread Jim sent prayers to robsled and put--Jim and Lynnie. I would assume Lynnie would be his wife and a pet name for Lynn.
Maybe a start, hopefully, sure hope he's OK. Someone on this forum must have his email or his address, didn't he sell some modified grills or lights or something else that someone on here may have had contact with him.

I've posted in the FL thread and one guy said to contact another - pm'd him and haven't heard anything from him yet. Pm'd a friend of his on FB and she hasn't heard from him either. Asked another one on here, and he said he'd try and haven't heard back from him yet, either. I thought I had his email, but can't find it, if I did....

 

Like I said, I would "ASSUME" Lynnie is Lynn, could be Lynette or even something else, at least it may jog your memory.
Glad you are trying to find out what the story is, good or bad at least we will know.
Anyone know Jims last name, that would probably be a huge plus also.
He was talking about moving, after he got banned I lost total contact with him, wonder if he stayed in the Orlando area or moved elsewhere, maybe he doesn't want to be found!

 

Jim Scorch. His FB page has been quiet for quite awhile. Other of his friends have posted looking for him too. I sent a PM and heard nothing from him.

No I don't - went back and looked for it before I posted my last post.

 

I googled him and the only thing that came up was his facebook page. Not even sure what city he lives in....

 

He told me they bought a house about 20 miles east of Orlando. I tried Googeling him, too, and just got his FB listing.

 

I know he moved into the new place - nice place. He's got a pic on his FB page. I know he had posted a few pics, but don't remember where... might have been under his new name here, which has been deleted.

 

Found an E-mail for Jim from 2012. Don't know if it is any good still but I tried it and haven't heard anything back. The address is jim_scorch@aol.com. The only other way I have been trying to find him is through the River Rats organization. I'm pretty sure they would have a listing of River Rats. I am also going to try "Together We Served" a site I belong to. I'll keep all posted if I hear or find anything.
