    Few years back my Neighbor wadded it into my Rover " avoiding a white cat? " Moved the truck back a solid 3 feet.

    ARB held up pretty well for taking it right off the lips... tweaked it up a little bit loosen the bolts and put back into place.

    Might protect from bug impacts but that's about all. Haha. When I put my SOS CONCEPTS Streamline bumper on I couldn't believe what Toyota considers as a "bumper" it's crazy.

    Arguably it's safer for your passengers than what you just put on your truck.

    I'd say in any higher speed impact it's definitely safer since it crumples and absorbs energy.

    Agreed. I have a whole bunch of weight coming down the line in a wreck. Animals are toast unless its super big like a steer or elk (for me, we don't have moose) but going head on with a truck or semi I know my plate bumper is doing me a safety disservice.
