@dtaco06 Danny, btw, have you gone up "Suicide Hill" (i.e. White Mountain)? Please forgive my ignorance bro!!! Do you think my rig with 235/75/15 Firestone Destination AT tires would be able to handle it (NOTE: they actually do pretty damn good in soft sand)? I'm talking about how "skinny" my tires are compared to 31x10.50's. I THINK you said that I don't need to worry about sliders as it is more very loose dirt/rock and steep in spots.

Do any of you guys use sat phones or anything in case of an issue somewhere out in the desert or mountains where you're completely screwed with no way out? I'm just curious.

 

I use a ancient sat phone. Fire and wet blanket for smoke signals.

 

I already sold my oem steps in preparation for those all pro sliders.

 

Agreed among the guys I met who has one, it mainly comes down to why you need one. So you gotta come up with a good story...or BS story.

 

Yeah I've seen those. My brother fishes a lot and has had some moments where he has had to radio for vessel assist. It's funny that there isn't anything like that for off-roading.
