nice! yea I did my first coat last night as well after I got the truck home from the tire shop....The amount of looks I got this morning when I was parking in the garage at work when I'm backing in and my tires sound like they are trying to rip the bumper off it was rubbing so badly.... I was just cracking up

He was selling the truck so figured it was the last chance we would have to put a taco in a 5 ton.

getting close to timing belt change as well if it hasn't been done already .
I have an EF now, but I've always loved a clean looking EK.
My guess is you'll get the EK, keep it for a few months, flip it and get the hybrid :)

haha why do you think so?

    I've had a bunch of Hondas.... 1 EF, 2 EGs, 2 EKs, and 2 EM1s when I was younger

and yea, this thing should be coming up on its second timing belt job....

I would love to b16 swap it :quickdraw:

Haven't seen you hold onto a car or truck yet. Selling cars in your DNA !! I don't know anybody that has close to number of vehicles you have owned.

What has me nervous is the garage in question lists 6'. Somehow I think getting my truck stuck in their garage is not the best way to make an impression on the interviewer, I might have to find an alternative.

The lift is the popular OME lift (which I don't think is truly 3", I keep seeing 2.5/2.75"), I have a fibeglass cap on the back, and 255/75/17 tires with about half the tread worn off (maybe that mm or two will save me)

If it lists 6', don't enter. If theres a speed bump, or high point on the ground, you will likely scrape something. You could always air down to about 12 psi and hope for the best haha.

My brother went through a crazy car-buying phase, especially considering how expensive some of them were. He started with a 90 Camry in high school, got a 2003 Pontiac GXP, then traded that for a 2006 Pontiac GTO. While still driving the GTO he got a 2005 RAM SRT-10 (with the viper engine), then eventually traded both of those for a 2009 Cadillac CTS-V. CTS-V got traded in for a 2012 Dodge Ram which he is surprisingly driving to this day. He is the king of being upside down on car equity.

sounds like the guy never kept them long enough to gain any equity though. And if he was buying new, he wouldve had to keep them a long while. That GTO wouldve been nice to drive I bet. The older Dodge rams were nice back in the day, but not a fan of their current looks.

I was able to drive the GTO, SRT-10, and CTS-V ALOT because he was often deployed. All 3 of those vehicles were a blast, especially considering I wasn't making the car payments. Only got 1 ticket too and the cop knocked that down to "Failure to obey a highway sign" :D
