Hey, 2 actual truck related questions.

    1. My damn rear view mirror has come off again. This is like the 4th time since I've had the truck. The first time was me trying to adjust it thinking it should go farther than it could and I broke it off the windshield...the other 3 times have been either in the extreme heat (last weekend in Texas) or the coldest part of winter. When I go to move it at all during those times the mirror just falls off the windshield. It's the metal "button" not sticking to the windshield. I have used the mirror reattachment kits from Autozone and OReillys. Does this happen to anybody else? Does anybody have a better method of reattachment? No, don't suggest a screw through my windshield.

    2. I have a slight "shudder" on takeoffs, been happening for a while now but haven't though anything of it. I also have slight vibes going down the road. Is this U-joint? @TacoAlaMode isn't this how yours acted heading out to Moab?

    No idea on the mirror.

Sounds like mine before I put the shim under the leafs. Any perticular speeds that it gets worse? Worse when breaking?

No particular speeds. Almost always on takeoff, and this just a sort of constant slight vibration almost "grinding" feeling going down the road. kinda like something spinning with sand around it lol

Negative, family emergency prevented me from it. I do have 2 brand new CVs sitting in my garage just waiting on me though. The clicking has stopped for now. I got underneath it and slid the boot back up as far as I could to get it home. Im still driving it for now since I don't have another choice. Hopefully she will last til Brian is able to make it back and Ill just ask him for help once he gets back into the swing of things states side.

I want to be a part of that, which CVs did you get? I've never replaced a U-joint myself so I'd like to tackle that if I need to.

    Yay learning experiences!

I got them from Oreilly's. I wanna say they are MasterPro, but I could be wrong. Like I said, I had a hell of a weekend with family stuff and have slept about 12 total hours since friday so my brain is scattered like hell

I would have loved to go with CVJ but time was of the essence at the time.

Don't need anything in return. Just need them back after you take the test so my wife can use them. I'll look through them tonight and let you know what all I have and figure out a way to get them to you.

Biggest piece of advice I can give you is to study more on what you think you will excel at and supplement with the other. For example, I was much stronger in math and had to let math and reading carry my vocab score (too many stupid ass words are thrown at you on the GRE).
