News this morning was that the 4 'sturdiest' buildings in St Martin had been wiped, but that was the only info they had on the damage down there so far.

 

There South is really getting butt fucked

 

We are chartering a sailboat, so no need for any land based hotels or anything, but hopefully the boat still exists after this nightmare of a storm.

 

And the ports that service it/that it visits, too.

 

Exactly the one I plan on going with. I plan on adding a dual swing out on it as well. They're not very active on here it seems...

Yea... I love their design but if they aren't responsive to inquiries... I'd be wary too.

I have the Pelfrey Hi clearance, I like it, but wish I had the side protection, and I kinda wish I spent the extra money for the swing out now. Oh well. @fatfurious2 switched out to the Bruteforce, maybe he had better luck getting in touch with them.

Ya I really wish I went with a hi clearance but my truck was to new to me to be cutting the besides at that point

 

Im not sure if he would appreciate me posting his number here, but i have seen him post it on instagram. PM me for his number. Im actually in talks with him about something else, so I know that he responds.

I love my high clearance with the swing out. I am changing directions, so if i were to do it again, id want a dual swingout with a dual jerry can mount. He always changes his design, so my bumper is different than @Subway4X4. His has an adjustable height spare tire mount.

How hard is it to remove the swingouts?

 

I haven't removed mine since I installed it a year ago. The pivot is setup like a motorcycle, with bearings on the top and the bottom. I wouldn't imagine it being too difficult to remove, but it might get messy because of the grease.
