Mine had a slight upward curve brand new, completely flat with the cap added ... now back to normal with air bags restoring factory rake.

    Firestone.

I made 2 trips with about 1/4 cord in the bed over the weekend (6 more trips to go). Center of wheel to bottom of flare is about 22.25" w/ 30psi.

Because of all the second and third gen leaf problems. This makes me believe that yota is using sub par metals in their leafs. And weather I get a set out of this batch from September or that batch from July, it is going to be the same metallurgy in both batches. Which imho can't hold the weight of the truck not to mention a load.

Just to say this. I do off road a lot, and flex my rear leafs alot. My SA is fully aware of this and still thinks that should not be causing my truck to sag.

OP this is perfectly normal and is how all Toyota spring over Tacoma springs have been designed since the dawn of time. They are designed for comfort rather than large load carrying capability. They will perform just fine up to and including at rated capacity. Go look at trucks on the lot and they are all like that. This has been discussed ad-nausium in the second gen and first gen sections. They are perfectly fine. You want arched springs get a full size domestic or get All Pro standards/ expo or custom deaver/ alcan etc...

Fyi Dakars also are designed to be slightly inverted/ "w" shaped at ride height.
