I remember a few years ago this was a major issue...then the new rules got put into place because it was hampering the high tempo offenses

    This thead is cancer.

I was hoping it wouldn't have been a pissing match for teams and conferences living in the past like the NHL thread.

We've been doing a thread for many years every season

And we all quite enjoy it and get along great despite rivalries or dislike of another team

Only a handful of issues over the years including a vols fan and an FSU fan

dont get mad because people got jokes about Ohio state and their history or future cupcake schedule

You're also joining in only seeing off season and 1st week stuff

Only the SEC has the conference fanboy thing going

Well he is Ohio born and has been a prominent coach for many Ohio teams so I can't see why the hate.

I love all of college football. It's disappointing to see your team lose but unless you have someone close to you or play on the team yourself I find the piss contests on either side kind of silly.

I apologize for any stupidity that comes from my fellow OSU fans we all know every school has the obnoxious and arrogant ones so we are not alone. OSU is a very big school and produces many ;)

    Go Bucks.

I thought it was kinda funny that before we played App St all I heard was don't sleep on them, they're tough. Now that we beat them down pretty decently with a true freshman QB it's all "don't get excited, it's just App St".

I wasn't taking them lightly after the lackluster year we had last year and the fact we tend to play down to competition. Yes it was just App St but looking forward to how he handles South Bend.

I wasn't one of those freaking out about App St. I mean thought it might be semi close the first half, but I didn't expect it to be like their game against UT last year. In my opinion, you just can't get excited about a true freshman playing against a team like App St. Yes, it was on a bigger stage than he's ever played on, but this week, he's going to South Bend, IN, to play against a historical team (even though they're typically OVER rated). They still worry me much more than App St. Top players from across the nation actually choose to go to ND when they have other offers. It's just a different animal.

All that said, I think we'll be OK for the next two weeks. I think we best ND, Eason rests through the Samford game, then comes back in week 4 and possibly splits time with Fromm. :notsure:

I guess it still the Richt layover that I need to get out of my head. Last year didn't help but under Richt we underachieved so many times I'm still weary. I just need to have faith in Kirby.

As far as Fromm in the limelight they say he had ice water in his veins. Through his childhood and high school days he has not let pressure get him. Great article here. http://onlineathens.com/sports/dogb...m-ready-his-next-big-moment-uga-s-starting-qb so I'm excited to see how he handles the big stage on the road. However I have heard we will be well represented up there.

I hope Notre Dame wins. I almost wish the game was on their field cause opposing teams get so psyched up coming to south bend to make a point it almost gives them an advantage. Notre Dame fans aren't exactly the loudest either.

I hope they don't. Going to be a lot of red and black in that stadium, I have heard estimates between 15k-30k which would be awesome. I guess we will see this Saturday. This trip is getting too expensive to take a loss in the game, haha.
