Looks like a brown widow. They are poisonous, but not as bad as the black widow.

Brown Widow. Interesting fact: In Southern California, those little fuckers are everywhere this time of year. However, ever since they really spread to SoCal 5-6 years ago, they have been displacing and out-competing black widows. So now we have less Black Widows but a shitload of those fuckers.

Brown Widow, be careful, they can jump like 10 ft, land on your face and bite your eyes.

I've seen 2 brown widows at my house in Nevada, but only one black widow in 13 years living in my current home. I used to see black widows all of the time living on the west side of Reno, but since I moved East, they are few and far between.:notsure:

I've seen quite a few black widows around here where I live, I don't think I've seen a brown widow. A black widow bite sucks, but it's really only young children, the elderly, or sick that you have to watch.

A Brown Recluse is the spider you have to watch out for around here, they will F your world up if gone unnoticed or untreated. Google image search Brown Recluse spider bite, and see for yourself. Plus they are common indoor spiders.

I just Google search brown recluse spider bite. Those are nasty. I can't imagine the pain a person goes thru for recovery.
