Ok to prevent confusion - @Mrguitarguy01 paused the group buy at post 366. My other edits were moving people from interested to committed. I added you as committed just now but I have no idea how he wants to handle that, since there are a limited number of tents available for us easterners. That's my understanding anyway.

I too am committed OP. I should be #10 in the Texas group.

I think the title should reflect "PAUSED" or something because more and more people keep jumping on, and some aren't even reading what's going on.

 

This thing is closed guys, we have multiple regions now and this really needs to be consolidated.

Maybe a way to try and keep things somewhat organized, would be to just start a convo with allllll the ppl that are actually on the lists, and that way it's only US talking and sorting this all out.

Am I confirmed for the california list? I was #22 on the original list and around #4-5 for confirmed from California.

 

Alright. I am willing to TRY and make this happen for the absolute ridiculousness that is a 40+ tent list in 4 different regions, only going to 2 hubs, but really, like 30+ tents going to Austin.

I need more volunteers like @Stoach Pierogi to consolidate a list of all the people in their region who are committed. Please PM them and ask. After all, the more people we can get committed to your region, the more I am actually going to consider adding those to the official order, which right now, we dont have much of one.

So please, delegate someone in your region. From there we can delegate a shipper, or multiple shippers. I have added people who are willing to ship/help.

My plan is to get this order placed on the 29th. So if we can't get this done by the end of the week people are definitely going to be left off, and I want no hard feelings or DM's of angry people. I am trying to accommodate.

I cannot know the final price without having a solid committed list. And just for pure discretion, I might just up my fee to $100. There are a lot of people that are going to need to help me too, and it is only fair that I give them some money too.

Please guys, help me help you. Lets look at the people in your region and see if we can make an efficient path. If it is not viable we need to figure that out so that we can see how much it will be to fastenal to your door steps or a volunteer who has storage space.

 

We need to put this in Excel! Send me the list and I'll cut and paste into Excel and send back to you. It will take me about 15 minutes (I think). I don't want to make the list and find out it's not the most up to date one. Once it's in Excel you can manipulate as you wish.

I can't stand reading 100 different lists.

 

Im gonna have to pull out of the commited list. My plan will be to wait until a possible east coast only group buy. Plus the timing right now isnt the best. Thanks

Again. We don't know the official price, but last time it was $564 for the 2-3 person tent, $664 for the 5 person tent, and $87 for the annex.

If you can't commit to this price, then I have to assume you're not serious. You need to assume you're going to pay this + individual shipping based on region.

 

Props to all you guys for considering this group buy. I have seen Some group buys go to shit with just one location for shipping logisitics depending on the OP and how the processing is actually carried out. I hope this pans out, but I'm honestly surprised this is even being considered with how things are set up currently. Good luck guys.

 

That's why we need to put it in Excel - you're doing this a lot of times. It's turning into a full time job for you. We can add a column for deposits - personal email and phone numbers - etc. Some of which will obviously be for your eyes only.

 

This is exactly how I do all of my group buys , and they've all come out flawless. Nobody gets missed.

 

No I'm all about transparency. I'm not a vendor. Unless its personal information, everyone needs to see everything so they know who needs to be help accountable.

 

You don't have to be a vendor. Neither am I. But the Excel spreadsheet will help you organize everything. I'm sure what he means is that each TW member's personal information you have, but that doesn't need to be shared with everyone else. That doesn't affect your transparency.
