yeah, the only reason why it passed when it got undercoated is because Toyota did not attempt to remove any scale and just covered over it, parts of my frame were the same consistency as tortilla chips, CRC was the Cheese holding it all together

So... Have a 2006 SEQUOIA that's been approved and at the dealer... Got a rental through dealer that fits our purposes well... We are planning a long road trip for February for which we would get a rental to save miles on our vehicle... What are the chances that our frame won't be replaced by mid-February and we'll still have the dealer rental for our trip?

5 months away would be hard to say whether it'd be done or not. How many other vehicles does your Dealer have that need replacements? The average wait for parts, going by others experiences, is 2-3 months.
And they won't know what other parts are needed till they start disassembly. There's no telling what the wait could be on misc. bolts, spare tire acc.'s, brake lines, etc., etc..

Making a 5 month prediction, I'd say there's about 40% chance you'd still have the Loaner.

Here are the holes in my frame. All on the D/S this time. Had to have the P/S patched last year to pass PA inspection. My appointment is tomorrow at 8 I hope it fails.

Thanks - SM at dealer is a nice guy and seems like a good service guy, but frankly, seems to be pretty clueless about the replacement timing/process/etc... He had no idea about how long process would take.

You've been a huge help to me... appreciate the response... I know one thing they'll need to replace - Had the Sequoia towed to the dealer for steering rack replacement, at which time they said it was not safe to drive due to broken frame.... Expect to pay for rack (or buy one) but expect labor will be covered since it needs to be attached to frame. I'm sure there will be other parts we'll have to buy as well, but hope to keep OOP to a minimum, as we plan to sell it as soon as it's done - We had to buy another tow vehicle, and will be keeping it...

Back from the dealer and they're submitting my frame to Toyota as failing. SM said that me and another guy are the first to fail under the new program at their dealership. He also said that they did 200 frames there under the last program and it took anywhere from 2-3 months to 6-7 to get frames last time. With the program being new he wasnt sure on the wait time for parts this time and they'll be in touch with me when they hear back from toyota on my frame.
