What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Had to re-install matte black tailgate inlays after having tailgate repaired and painted. My buddy who is the manager of the body shop painted my fender flares and clear coated them due to the flares having wax residue on them from when the dealership did their new vehicle detail. I am one of the few on this forum that likes the Off Road/Sport grille but not in chrome so I replaced it with the SR grille which I think is the best looking of all the OEM grilles including the Pro, but for shits and grins I had my buddy at the body shop paint the Off Road grille matte black and clear coat it. He also painted the center emblem MGM just like my SR grille. When he brought the truck back he had the newly painted grille on the truck. He also replaced the factory off road fog light covers with SR5 factory covers which I like and agree with @JerryTaco who I copied, they look better then the original ones. I also installed a TRD cat back exhaust, applied gloss black TRD skid inlays (forgot picture) from rrentrop, removed the OEM mud guards for no other reason then I just don't like mud guards/flaps and finally installed the ssp that I have had for over a month and never got around to installing it.

Here you go. The truck has been leveled, the wheels are ATX 202, 16"x 8", 00 offset, 4.5 back space on Wrangler Authority 265x75x16C

Thanks, was thinking of a similar setup but the bronze version since my truck is red.

I was debating on the bronze too but I really wanted the all black. Check Wheel Warehouse I found them on ebay for $132.00 or $138.00 with free shipping. Everywhere else was $172.00 - $180.00

Can confirm...the heavy Dakar leaf pack rules hard. This is over 700 pounds of plywood cabinet and other materials. Zero sag in the rear and it rode smooth as can be during the hour transport.

FedEx guy came skipped breakfast and put my Roof rack on

 

Took my truck in for 5000 mile service. Had the rear diff torqued for the recall and took care of some other small things. When the valet went to grab my truck 4 techs and my service advisor came out and wanted to know where I got my @rrentrop side marker decals and my @AJT DESIGN key fob. They thought both were really cool.

Service advisor also said he ordered a "new kit" to fix my squeaky/creaky suspension. He said the fix was released in August after lots of owner complaints and he had to order it and wasn't sure what exactly it consisted of but thought it was redesigned spacers to stop the squeaking. He could also have just been blowing smoke up my ass.

 

Just looks better with it IMO.
