Well yea since you have to remove those rivits.

Yea, because of the rivets that hold the stock one on have to be removed either by drilling them out, plasma cutter, or other means.

Have been looking at the Archive Garage ones, but still not sure.

Cant be that bad. :D Wasn't sure if it was something else making the flip "awful." Pretty sure All-poo leafs warranty is void with a flip IIRC, not sure about OME. Why not just go for the gusto and do the 63" swap?

There are 8 1" rivets that need to be removed, the 4 that go through the top of the frame are spot welded. There is little room to work between the frame and the bed. The spare tire winch rope is pokey band will cut your head. You have to remove your rear bumper to get the flip kit to align correctly. Basically it's not fun.

Lol, yea I need to check on OME...

And because $$$ mainly. Right now I am going to do UBolt Flip with better bump stops, install extended brake lines, possibly shackle flip, and would like to get new shocks and would really like to do extended shocks but that requires the mount relocate as well.

@ETXTacoma with your new axle a 63" swap would make more sense

Yea, but that creates even more work as they are longer and require the front mount to move forward more and such.

Pretty sure that new axle would void your warranty

Changing your rear axle requires more work, if you're already going to be under there might as well go all in

But that requires me bringing everything up there... and that would be a lot to bring.

On the shock relocate... do you need to relocate the shock mount on the axle? I can't remember.

    Could do Deaver springs?

Generally yes, you set the axle mount for max flex after mounting the frame mount.

Deavers are for lighter trucks, all the shit you carry would flatten then immediately

Good to know... pretty sure I don't really want to grind and weld on a brand new axle at this moment...

    http://www.chaosfab.com/2005-2015-Tacoma-Rear-Shock-Hoop-Kit-86460

Found this, pretty sure would just be easier to do a BAMF shock relocate and everything since you can only run 10" shocks with this, but still an option.

Pricing all this out to LT the rear plus what all is involved to have someone that knows what they are doing actually help do it.... Pretty sure I just want to do the Shackle flip with the OME springs and then down the road do shock relocate and everything.

I'm locked front and rear on 4.56, talk to me about your rear axle.
