A 38 +p is just a sneeze of a standard 9mm (and its the same diameter bullet) i have been very suprised how well i shoot some snub nose jframes. They are very naturally point and shoot for the most part. Accuracy for sd situations is way more than adequate and with the option for sa an accurate shot at a greater distant is more likely

Nor do they need one in alabama but i think you can forego some paper work if u have an in date ccp due to similar questions and checkings of back. I havent had an in date ccp while buying a gun tho so im not 100% sure, just hear say

Hammers, triggers, and purses full of junk are no bueno. Hammerless DAs are much better.

So are special purposes purses.

If it's a home defense weapon, a shotgun and #00 is a better choice.

Or steel #4 and a slug barrel. Won't go through two layers of drywall, definitely going to make someone's last moments extremely painful.
