I don't know why so many people hate icon. I really liked mine.

3.0s are not fitting on this truck. Not to mention they don't make oem replacement 3.0's

Not sure ? I think the name ..King and Fox are so prevalent they just assume there is nothing more. I have Kings on my O4 taco. There nice. But I just feel $ for $ Icon works best offroad and on. My JK's Icons have 57k on them and never an issue .

Seemed as good or stronger than my dirt king setup.

I'd have to look but I swear it's really similar to king's version. Is king full 360 and icon isn't?

    FOX and KING are progressive.
    ICON are digressive. Big difference.
I posted an article about shock types a while ago.

Icon top hat is a crappy design. Have seen in break first hand. King is much more solid piece of aluminum.

The top hat on Kings seem to be thicker. I may be biased since I have Kings. You'll always have those that get flawed kits in every brand but it seems that Icons have more issues on this forum (i.e. Leaks, broken top hat, rust). Plus customer service and suspension knowledge is better at Kings imo since I have the Icon UCAs and have called Icon before and their service was very subpar and not really helpful.

    Edit:
^he beat me to it I guess

I went opposite. Icon to king solely because my hoop kit called for kings as did the bed cage. I didn't want to find the equivalent so just went with their specs.

The only icons I've seen break would have also severely damaged the Kings.

But that a topic for another thread. :)
