trouble installing this

So I'm thinking about purchasing this LED for my Tacoma. My question is how do you get the bulbs to fit? I bought something similar to this and ended up returning it due to the cooling fan wont be able to fit into the housing. Do I need to take apart anything in order to get this to fit? thanks for the help!

Plug and play no mod FANLESS! LED headlights.

H4 Bulb you do not need the spacer ring or the 1050 passing bulbs. I have these installed pretty good for a drop in replacement cut off in the reflector housing is still appropriate, doesn't blind people. High and low beams work.

Best thing about them, they are 100% fanless meaning you don't have to worry about the fan getting wet or plugged with dirt and mud and seizing potentially burning up your headlamp or even truck.

No it's not universal, it's a kit made specifically for the Goldwing 1500 aspencade that came with H4 bulbs. Our trucks also use H4 bulbs. So it's a direct drop in plug-and-play install. The trim rings are to space them back for the earlier models that had slightly deeper reflector housings and are un needed for our trucks. Also the passing lights don't fit anywhere on our trucks so no point in ordering them.

I've had mine installed for over a year now and have nothing but good things to say about them.

I really hope you realize that you're posting in a 3rd Gen Forum. I don't hate (on) 2nd Gen, but our headlights are different. No H4 for us, unless we'd retrofit the heck out of them.
H11s are designed to fit our highs and lows (and fogs).
Op, if the fan housing sticks out a lot, you might have to loosen the headlights, or take it off (check out videos on headlight revolution website). Good luck.

You gotta pop the bumper cover off and unbolt the headlights.

I have the GTR3 bulbs and they are great. Watch the reviews on the headlight revolution page on YouTube about our trucks. They are VERY honest about performance and have comparison videos of bulbs in the Tacoma headlight housing.

Yes, could do all that, or easier and cheaper get Hyluxtek HID, with 4300K Round Bulb... Use LED in high beam... Lol

I had a set of fan-in LED headlights... They cost a lot and failed in less than 12 months. I'm back on halogens until I get the muscle together to do a retrofit for HIDs. Until then? Philips Xenon bulbs aimed properly are awesome.

I think I'll just go with the other set where it doesn't required you to take the whole bumper off, since I've never done anything like that before and I don't really have tools for all that. Thank you for your input!

 

I have Nineo H11 LED bulbs for my low beams and fog lights and I didn't have to remove a single thing, and they have fans on them. I simply reached my hand behind the headlight, unplugged the connectors, twisted out the oem bulbs and twisted in the Nineo ones.

I got mine on Amazon but for whatever reason the H11's are no longer on there.

Damn 12,000 lumens?? Don't you get honk at a lot for having super bright lights like that?

 

Mine were 7,200 lumens. I guess those I shared aren't quite like mine lol.
