Too poor to list anything interesting.
Looters here are getting charged with a minimum of 20 years. Unless the homeowner gets to them first.

nah I wouldn't count them for anything. I want them to stay worthless, just like they lived.

That's a category 3. Imagine if it managed to stay at a 4.

Is that a direct hit or does it even matter?

I'm assuming direct hit. But I'm also too lazy to look for that image.

yea we've been talking to the older crowd here that went through Hurricane Hugo and theyre definitely not thrilled. my current boss bought his first house in 88 like 5 doors down in my neighborhood and the battery here had reports of 22ft of water over the the actual battery. his house is only sitting at 15ft of elevation (mines at 12 but on 5ft stilts) and he thought he lost everything till he came back and found no water damage. he thinks somehow our little area is at a good location. not that I don't think he got lucky as fuck, but still it helps ease my mind a little as far as house flooding goes. this damn big ole oak tree is still going to be the death of me though lol

I just changed my flight out of SC, so I'll be getting home tomorrow afternoon instead of Saturday morning. That will give me a little more time to prep. This experience has definitely drilled home a lesson I should have learned with Matthew - last stop before long term parking at the airport should be the gas station.

I'm also going to evaluate options for securing my traction boards and other recovery gear so that I am 99% ready to go if I have to fly back in to one of these events.

I'm surprised I'm not seeing more traffic on google maps as a result of evacuations.

Looks like Miami is getting the weaker side (east) of it, South Carolina on the other hand will get it bad (north)

If yall haven't used Ventusky yet, it is pretty neat. Just got on it yesterday but tons of information on what to expect when the storm gets to wherever it is projected to be

All we CAN say for certain is that it will do whatever it does, computer models or not, so being prepared is ALWAYS the best thing!
