    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
    Go for the 7th if you want easy. Aem if you want a better tune. But will have to do it yourself. 6th injector kit is okay but the tuner by split second isn't as nice as the aem.

    495.00 methanol snow progressive kit will fix your ping issues, no need for larger injectors or 7th
    injector or replacing fuel pump, or replace ECU, and then you have an intercooler system for the heat, 7th injector can't do that.
    And call it a day

    Yeah Ill get a pic of it , I believe it was near there and its round with a small hose off of it going into the intake. I google egr and photos looked to be the same.

    If it's this it's your fuel pressure regulator - you might already know this - just throwing it out there :) Meth injection sounds like the way to stay cool out in the desert though. Just something about injecting meth in the desert...

    Methanol is the best solution for the sc IMO and the cheapest as well. It's probably the highest maintainance though. I would consider doing larger injectors as well depending on how much boost you want to run. Texasaces claimed to have leaning out with pure methanol injection over 4500 rpms using a 2.1" pulley IIRC. The methanols primary function is to cool the charge. It doesn't add much fuel and it also condenses the charge which further decreases the fuel ratio.

    If I had to do it all over again I would run larger primaries and a fic 6 before methanol. But I would run both at the end of the day :cool:

    Are you running a turbo or supercharger? Why are you saying methonal is high maintenance besides adding methonal to the windshield tank (unless you have an older or inexpensive kit).
    My truck has the 300 psi pump , progressive spray and only needs the spray at 4 pounds and up creating a perfect AIR FUEL RATIO with 9- 9.5 of boost with a 2" pulley at 6000 feet.
    I'm getting 1500 plus miles (5 tanks of gas) per gallon of methanol with zero
    issues with the snow stage 2 progressive kit. Could not be happier with mine.

    It is a high maintainance system compared to anything else because it doesn't operate in tandem with the ecu. It's an auxiliary component and any sort of data logging or mapping needs to be done manually. It also won't throw a CEL when it's malfunctioning. The reason you have perfect afr is because you're not actually making the that much power. At 6000 feet ambient pressure is around 12 psi so even if you're making 9 psi boost that's only 21 psi MAP which is equivalent to only 6 psi of boost at sea level which is easily manageable on the stock fuel system.

    Texasaces claimed he had leaning out at around 4500 rpm running 100% methanol and a 2.1" pulley. At sea level on a 2.1" pulley he would be making around 11 psi boost which is around 26 MAP, roughly 25% more O2 than your setup. If his system were to suddenly fail it would be moments before catastrophic engine failure. It's nice to have contingencies in these cases which is why I recommend upgrading primary fuel injectors prior to adding any methanol injection systems. Methanol is awesome for what it does but it is a high risk high reward system and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who thinks they can just slap it on and be cruising because of the required maintainance.

    Well put, in any case each engine will depend on altitude and will vary depending were you live and if supercharged or turbo like yours.
    For me the methonal system works perfectly and was the perfect solution. I have zero maintenances besides adding boost juice every 1500 miles which in not maintenance unless you think putting gas in your truck is. The best I could run was a 2.1 pulley with 7.5 pounds of boost without ping. The methonal system I can now run a 2" pulley and boost is 9 pounds with a great
    increase in power at 6000 feet with perfect AFR all the way across the RPM range. On hot summer days my supercharger would get heat soaked and run like blaaaaaa. Not anymore! The snow kit system has a low level light sensor for when the fluid is running low,
    The system has a green light installed in the boost guage pillar to show when the system is spraying or not spraying, working or not working, you can also add a failsafe to the system to prevent any catastrophic type situations happening. The older methanol systems or cheaper system do not have these safe guards.
    So there is little chance that the driver is not aware that the system is not working unless you bypass these safety guards or do not install them. If someone runs
    a trd supercharger on regular gas under load it also can be catastrophic. If you rev up an engine without a tack it can be catastrophic too.
    The 7th injection system I know is popular but in reality it is spraying gasoline onto the front and rear rotor bearing of the supercharger all the time which in time will fail because we know gasoline and grease don't mix and there is no real inter-cooling effect from the 7th injection system. The methonal system when setup correctly if needed will lower temp by 100 degrees. I don't think there is a perfect solution, there are pros and cons to all.
    Just different choices depending on you needs and location, educate yourself too what works best

    It's a good system no doubt, there are pros and cons that's all, there is NO perfect solution that is cost efficient, If I was at sea level maybe I would need to go a different route. Not sure
