He discredited himself by getting involved with BLM and making unfounded statements that do nothing to help the problem. Just look at the title of his upcoming book.

Anyhow, the body cam footage from a nearby officer isn't portraying what he said happened. There's also the facts that he waited 10 days after the incident happened to say something, and he never filed a formal complaint with the LVMPD. The LVMPD has launched an internal investigation and is asking Bennett to make a formal statement of his allegations.

Holy crap! The chiefs must of really turned it on in the last quarter or so, they were losing last time I was watching in the 3rd. It sure is quiet in Foxborough

 

The Chiefs could be a good team, but Brady looks to have severely declined.

 

That was fantastic. Tommy Boy looked bad. 16-36? Damn. And that defense was atrocious.

Hated to see Berry go down. I saw them moving the ankle up and down and was worried it was an Achilles. Hopefully it's not torn...but chances aren't good.

 

Sure only one game but.......loved it.

I hate the Patriots but everyone said the same thing in 2014 and they won a Super Bowl that year. In fact, the last 3 times they have started 0-1 they have won the Super Bowl. Wait till next week at bare minimum.

 

You guys are crazy writing Brady off. But I do hope it turns out like Manning. Hope he falls off a wall this season. Give us afc guys a chance to battle it out without damn Pat's in the way.

It might have been better in the long run for the rest of the Patriot's opponents if they had won the game. They clearly have received the message that it doesn't much matter what you did last season in regards to how you are going to do this season. Bradys performance was certainly sub par, but they still scored 27 points. The defense was the reason the game was lost. You are not going to give up 42 points and win too many games. If Brady had a better performance they might have won the game in a shootout. Give credit to the KC defense as they did a good job disrupting the passing game. The Patriots had two receivers who have been on the team less than two weeks and normally would only have played a few, if any snaps last night. With the health problems with receivers it isn't unexpected that the passing game last night was sub par. They arguably have a better running game than most years and that is what they went to at the goal line last night, not the pass, which affected Brady's overall stats. Some passes were pretty damn good and at least one pass, the first of the game, was horrible and should have easily gone for a TD. It's a long season and Belichick and company do a good job building so they peak at the end of the year. I would much rather see them lose the first game of the season than the last one.

 

Jimmy G will just come in and win 11-12 games a year. I think it's less about who is under center in that system and more about the system (and weak competition in their division). Hell, Matt Cassel went, what, 11-4? Jimmy G went 3-0?


*Disclaimer: this doesn't mean I think Brady is terrible or a bad QB. Before you Brady nut huggers get your panties bunched up, calm down. He's a great QB. But the fact that Cassel went 11-4 in his stead, then won like 4 games total the rest of his career says something about the division and the system.

 

Football would be great if it were Hockey! How's that for trash talk!
