Transmission software update?

    The transmission is not from a minivan, minivans are FWD. If you want a truck with that configuration get a Pathfinder!
    My transmission shifts fine, it could be better though. I had two 2nd gens before an '07 & '14 to me only time would tell if second gen are better depends on how reliable the third gen V6 and transmission are. At least they are more fuel efficient than a Tundra even on towing.

    My 4 cylinder shifts fine. I was concerned about breaking it in during the winter but this has not been an issue. Transmission shifts fine.

    chrome valve stems covers
    Transmission shifts on par with other transmissions which are tuned for fuel economy. And with the cafe regulations expect more vehicles to shift like this. At least it isn't a cvt transmission. Those really suck.

    This is dave2330 I've got a apportionment for Monday for mine transmission software update Monday 10 2017 and they told me there another one coming out to for 16 Tacoma

    It could be better but I think it's pretty decent for a truck. I have definitely driven crappier feeling autos. I only wish it would not hold gears so long with the cruise control on.
