X2 what kind of cam?

I have this from Mac tools p/n TGD60AA. It's not expensive and not too big either. They have others if you need one to read over 60 psi but since I don't it's the best fit for me

 

Which snorkel is that? Safari? Truck looks badass btw

 

its a snorkel for a hilux, i bought this one off of ebay so its a replica of a safari

 

All gotcha. I have a airflow snorkel and thinking about changing it up a bit. You remember which year hilux?

 

its a hilux 167, the specific part number is in my build thread. I quite like it tbh, there is a small gap in the front of the snorkel but you can seal it up with black rtv if that bugs you.

temperature variance with the snorkel is significantly less compared to stock. Why dont you like the airflow?

 

Went out on a little solo trail ride last night. Played too much golf this summer and never got a chance to check out the 5100's and new tires . She took the ruts and mud like a magic carpet!

 

I like the airflow just interested in your setup. Less piping compared to the airflow. BTW yes it's about 10 degrees difference with a snorkel compared to a stock intake that everyone "claims" is a cold air intake. Measured the intake air temperature with my Scangauge 2 and I was right about temperature difference. Even with the stock intake I could never get to ambient temperature, it was always 8-10 degrees above even if I drove 50+ mph. With the snorkel I was at 1-2 degrees above ambient temperature.

Well, the Coma Taco is now officially a 2012 sr5 OFF ROAD! Finished installing a full brand new suspension off a 2017 off road, only 300 miles on it! Also removed the sway bar, I personally love the ride without the sway bar.​

Yeah here in Hawaii red in the front or blue is some what impersonation of a fire truck and blue is police officers that's what they told me haha red should be in back of truck to single as a slowing down or stop.

Nope, just goo gone and a couple micro fiber towels. Alternated between dry scrubbing and using goo gone, they come off fairly easy.

 

Are you going to buy a new fender?

You get more air flow with the Airflow snorkel.
