Why Greenville? Are you hard set to live in SC?

I feel you. Yeah it's a hefty drive and there always seems to be construction.

It's so sad that it would take less time, even with traffic, to go 200 miles roundtrip than 80 in LA

If you are used to horrible traffic then this commute might not seem bad. I guess it's all about prospective. After living in Hawaii where traffic is abysmal, I can pretty much tolerate anything now.

Yeah I was in greenville and everybody kept complaining about traffic. I have no clue what they were talking about

It took me maybe 10 min to go 7 miles. People considered that "high traffic"

...That'll do it...fiancee will get ya every time. CLT to Greenville is a rough commute. Getting on either 485 or 85 heading South/West is bad news. This is where you learn to "compromise" lol.

Yeah I just thought you meant that South is bad in the morning.

At least in LA, heading toward LA from any direction in the AM is terrible, but going the opposite way is not. In the PM it's the opposite.

Yeah, sucks balls leaving Charlotte in general. I have to look at google maps when I leave every day in order to figure which way I am going home. Either 77 S or 485 to 521. The thought of driving through Ballantyne makes me quiver.

I remember 521 having 2 or 3 stoplights. Now there's one every half mile.

I'd do that over driving to Charlotte any day of the week.
