Well...not really. But I finally got mine installed and it seems like I sit quite a bit higher in the seat. I know these things are padded but damn, my head is almost at the ceiling now, I even had to re-adjust my rear view.

Anyone else expreience this after installing theirs??

1/2" foam padding means you sit around 1/4" higher depending upon weight.

After you get used to a vehicle, 1/4" change is very noticable. Ever read any of those Taco reviews talking about how the seating position is too low? It's that 1/4" they're noticing. This stuff is METICULOUSLY tested to an absurd degree before production begins on a vehicle.

IMO the seating height in the Tacos is perfect after WO installation...and I agree with the reviews, just a tad too low before.

I suppose I could see that. I also thought the seating in the Taco was a little low before install, but I got used to it. I'm sure i'll get adjusted. I do way 215 lbs though, so I didn't think that small amount of foam would really raise me up that much. Definately not a knock on WO though, these things are niiiiiiiiice!

I immediately noticed that I sat higher. You wouldn't think it'd make any difference since it compresses when you sit on them but it is a higher seating position. After a week or so I didn't notice it. Guess I'm use to it now.

I just did it over the phone. The TRD logo isn't on their website. They have two that I know of. One says Toyota Racing Development above the TRD and the other says Off Road on the right side of the TRD.

I noticed it also but have gotten very used to it now.

You ought to see how weirded out I get when my wife drives the truck and I have to re-adjust things!
