SR5, 4wd, double cab, for 34, xxx. With the pro grille and wheels, that's actually not that bad. I see SR5 2wd with dealer add ons that aren't worth anything going for near that price.

Take a look at the photos, the dealer hand wrote in the add ons. It's listed at $44K

I couldn't see that on my phone. I should call them and say I want it for 34,xxx because that's what it says on the website. Handwritten window stickers do not mean anything to me.

Dealerships are the worst. I wish you could just buy a vehicle online and have it delivered.

    Like, so many.
I don't hate the concept of a "Pro Package" but that mark up is just stupid. I'm surprised they didn't put on a Sport hood.

My old GF was buying a Subaru Legacy back 5 years ago and had done her homework, knew what she wanted and what she wanted to pay. Sat in a the local Subaru dealership in Maine for 3-4 hours, told them what she wanted and what she wanted to pay. They said "1. that vehicle with those options are not available 2. if it were it would not be at the price she wanted." She asked if they could find one from a different dealer and she would pay the deliver fee and they told her there is no such car in the entire US. She ended up walking out.

The next day she called a Subaru dealership in NH (less than 2 hours away) told them what she wanted and what she wanted to pay. They said no problem, we have that same car on our lot now, that's fair price, we will put all the paperwork together and mail it to you. She got the paperwork, registered the car, and then walked into the dealer ship less than a week after she called the NH dealer for the first time, got in the car and drove off. Spent less than 20 min in the dealership she bought it from.

    ....it can be done.

For 44k I say f*ck that dealer. That's beyond dishonest. From what I can tell their "pro package" doesn't include the fox suspension either. If it did we MIGHT be talking a 4-5k markup?

Did my test drive at DCH of simi valley. After that experience, I didn't include either DCH toyota dealer on my bid list when it came time to buy. From what I saw, the price in this "SR5 Pro" doesn't shock me at all.

Wonder if they added rear locker and crawl control in their "Pro package" (rhetorical question of course).

What part of the country are you from where that seems like a good deal? California? I got my TRD OR for just a shade over 32 WITH some mods

DCH Toyota Dealerships are garbage. There was a post a few weeks back about DCH of Torrance pulling the same kind of crap.

With the shit on my truck it's probably worth $86,000 if we're going by their math.

Gulf States. They are always adding something on that you don't really need.
I sat in the dealership for over 4 hours getting my wife a Rav4. Back and forth over what I am paying for and what I will not pay for.

    Too few to list.
Dressing a lower model to look like a higher end model is nothing new. Longo does it too. Link here

Truecar was great for me. I got 2 dealerships working against one another and got a great deal all by e-mail.
