    Mine did this and I found this...somehow water got in it and made a rusty mess...I used a wire wheel on the drill, then taped pvc to the shop vac. While I was in this deep, I replaced the 6 plugs, wires and 3 coil packs. I used dielectric on all the connections & plugs.
