    Thanks! I've been offered a job as an estimator for a VERY successful construction company. It'll be a Monday thru Friday office job. I'd like to work until I'm at least 65, just not for Asshat.

    My u-bolt flip kit was originally bought from Headstrong. They no longer stock it. It is EXACTLY the same as what AllPro currently offers. After having the original bolt on and off maybe 4 times for various reasons, the threads are starting to stretch. Last time I put them on, the nuts were a bitch to turn. So....I ordered new u-bolts from AllPro to have on hand. Next time I take them off, they will be replaced with the new ones.

    I have the invoice from AllPro in my hand right now.. It list's the size as follows;

    Rear u-bolt, 05+ (9/16" x 3.25" x 8.5")

    AllPro part # 4404-AP-05

    They are an EXACT match for what is on the truck. With stock leaf pack + 1/2" thick AAL, there is 1-1/4" of threads exposed above the tightened nuts. I can use 1" block in addition to what I currently have, or thicker leaf pack and these u-bolts would be long enough.

    I was more worried about drilling out the plates for a larger diameter bolt you're sending @beertimecontinuum

    Once you own a garage, be on the lookout for a bargain on a drill press. Next to my air compressor, it gets the most use. I found a good one on Craigslist a few years ago for $80.

    When I bought the flip kit from Headstrong, the plate AND u-bolts together were $79. I had to drill and tap the plate to match the holes in the superbumps, but that was fairly easy .

    I spend almost as much time making improvements to the garage as I do my truck. There is nothing handier than having a well equipped shop.
