    Hello!

I'm new to the forum. I just purchased a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO In a Cement Color?! I want to put different tires on the taco. I narrowed down to the KO2 or Dura Tracks?! Wondering if you guys can help me?! I drive mostly on the pavement and probably dirt on the weekends?! I'm upping the size to 265/75/16 Thank you!

Both are pretty good tires. The duratrac get the nod if planning to offroad in mud or drive in snowy conditions often. The kO2 wins the "bro" style award.

Welcome fellow newb! I was looking for a Pro but unfortunately there were none in my area and I wanted to drive off the lot with a truck ASAP. Looking forward to going nuts on some mods now ha. Enjoy!

Thank you for the info! It's a hard decision. I know both are really popular tires. I might just go with the k02?!

Did you try searching? Probably half of the Pro's have KO tires in a bigger size (many like you and don't off road but want the look), the other half have duratracs or another Hybrid/AT tire. Seriously though if you don't off road other than an occasional dirt road, leave the stock tires on. Get better mpg, handle better, ride better, less prone to hydro planning (something the KO's are known for) and will be quieter. Seriously though, just search, half the new threads are tire questions...

BTW, what does ?! mean after every sentence?

Welcome aboard, OP. Duratracs hands down for me but there are other good tires out there as well. In that size check out the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Tires are just the start, my friend. Hang on to your wallet.

Okay, I definitely will take a look searching for K02 vs Dura Tracks, I want to go with a more aggressive tire. I know that my mpg will go down. I'm leaning on the K02 just because I've had them on my F150 and they didn't wear so quickly and I liked them. I heard that the dura tracks will wear faster then the K02. Then again I never had the dura tracks.

Another thing to consider is that in that size you can only get an E rated KO2. If you are willi to consider an E rated (read sturdy yet far heavier tire) then there are far better options out there like a Cooper ST MAXX, Cooper STT Pro, Dick Cepek Extreme Country, DC Fun Country, Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3, and more.

So I pulled the trigger and put some K02 on my Pro! Thank you for fed back. I'm trying to learn to upload some pics.

Haven't seen that bedside decal personally, but I like it. I got rid of them on my TRD OR, but these I dig.
