    Hey @MoneyMan55
If I post pics later can you give me suggestions on electrical incoming service on barndominium? I want to make penetrations before spray foam.
    Thanks

WOW the storm looks big. Stay save

I find it odd the news and weather people keep saying get out. Then show all the reporters covering the storm in the same places they just told us to leave? Why don't they heed their own advice?

To all the folks in Florida, Be Safe. My stepson just moved to Sarasota 2 weeks ago. My other stepson lives in Austin Texas. I guess they will have some stories to tell at Christmas.

We now have 2 options ;), house sit close to our home or go inland 10 more miles and stay at a friends townhouse...both options are "New builds" within hurricane codes..

I will do a "final prep" of the house then load up the car prepared to stay away for at least 3-4 days.....:hattip:

I may see "high water" if this bitch named Irma wiggles west...storm surge from the Gulf plus drainage off Lake Okeechobee could bring my Riva' up 4-7 feet .....my elevation ... 3.48 feet :fistbump:

Being a "Yankee Transplant" that has weathered more than a few Nor'Easters ,my Stubborn streak has me watching this closely and I will move when needed .....:hattip:

Good morning folks. I hope everyone stays safe and dry.

On another note, being the father of all boys, little girls are funny. The family staying with us is the mom, 2 girls (10&6) and a boy (3). I got the honor of walking the girls to the school bus stop this morning. Girls are way more polite. These 2 are a spitting image of the oldest and youngest on "Despicable Me"...even their voices.

I'll probably get some of the duty of entertaining them this weekend, so I'm thinking I'll load them up in the Jeep with a lunch and take them out to where I work, maybe let them play in the water on the lake shore and just burn some energy. We're supposed to get some rain, so this plan hinges on how much.

Kids love the rain. Wear a raincoat and let them go at it.

If the humidity is low enough. It was pretty thick this morning walking to the bus stop.
