I can see the benefits to that, education for a lot of people that may want to go that route. I don't have any particular issue with not mentioning the mods I do. Since most of mine are small changes I tend to do them on my driveway when I have free hour or 2. Anything that is more involved I'd like to have someone else there that hopefully has done what I am doing.

Im trying out stuff to see what works. But this should be the end of it. I like my tent, and want a rack to go with it.

@Me. Projekt is buying/selling to make money.

that makes sense to me..... doing it for the good of the community is always worth it.

I'm done for a good while now though. family car? check, cool Tacoma? check, solid commuter car? check.

I have a solid setup for now. :)

Oh I totally understand that... it's a running joke that youre stock, then you show up VERY not stock. haha it was a good time.... just like @fatfurious2 ... he has one of the nicer builds of our group and I'm sure his surprise will be pretty epic as well.

    thanks man!

guilty.... I love wheeling and dealing lol

now that I've done it with my cars... I'm going to focus on my house / Tacoma now.... I need to sell my headlights.... the new ones will be here in like 2-3 weeks

and I need to sell my Voodoo Rack so I can buy @Arcticelf 's Icons... better suspension is more important than a rack for me right now....

does anyone know if I can fit a 60" high lift in the bed??? I havent measured, but by sight, it looks like a close fit.

I think Im in the same ball park. If I have folks over to help then I like to broadcast it to give them due credit for the work and stuff. If its just me, sometimes I will post, but with my build its really nothing out of the ordinary that other folks havnt done so I don't just broadcast to broadcast (not that there is anything wrong with what people choose to reveal). I do however try to get any tutorials out that I make as I want them to be available and announced for any that might benefit from them as I want to clear up any fears that I might of had by going into a mod without knowing the full extent of what might of been needed.

I did go ahead and order LED fog lights and a 5000k HID kit for the 4Runner today as well... those WV roads are DARK at night....

so gonna toss those in and eventually order ditch lights for both the 4Runner and Tacoma

your high lift will be crooked.. 60" is exactly 5 feet. Which is the size of your bed

Yeah, with the SPod, there was no way I would have done that myself. I am pretty weak when it comes to any electrical work. I was glad to have @fatfurious2 to not only help me wire, but also to make sure I didn't shock my heart into stopping or chop a finger off cutting stuff.

So guys, i've made a decision. I care more about overlanding than tough trails, so i'm scrapping the 4wd swap idea. That being said, full recovery gear, bigger/better tires, and a better suspension/lift & armor is all on the docket. Possibly a locker as well.
