With my long range trips, it would help. I had to stop so much more than my buddy. He has a Silverado and pulls almost 500 miles a tank.

Oh, trust me, I agree. We are only supposed to get 16/21 stock, so its not too bad. Im still gonna add more weight. I had 3 people and a full bed on the trip and was getting like 10 lol

 

that crazy 4runner with the trailer and all the rotopax, gets 3 lol. But he is towing offroad with a supercharger

You give me too much credit, that took a few hours, but very true. Anyway the cool thing is, I atleast know how to get off the fenders and bedsides if anyone ever has a need for that.

My hi-lift is mounted in my bed. It's a 60". If you want we can pull the mounts and check fit in yours tomorrow if we have time.

I have been looking at this and debating. If I add the prinsu and RTT and don't like the height or feel then I can easily sell the shell w/ rack for a good price and get a new bed rack so not too worried. I just lose the security and water proof of the shell.

 

Yeah, be careful with that. There have been times over the last couple months that I have regretted selling the bed cap, almost enough to price out a brand new one.

 

I had a tonneau on my ride before, but I don't miss the sealed bed although I only had a few things in my bed. Nice thing about the RTT is it does keep the middle of the bed somewhat covered. I don't think @ready6delta hauls enough crap all the time to make the shell a need. I def prefer having the RTT level to the roof as well.
