So, this happened today.

Last night I let my younger brother borrow my truck to help his girlfriend move. I get a call this morning from my brother telling me my truck got keyed. The truck was parked there less then 6 hours. Just got the police report, going to make a claim now.

 

Fuck people man. Did you happen to have a dash cam?

I don't have a dash cam. I hope karma fucks them in the ass and puts it in dry.

the worst part is a re-paint will never be as quite as good as factory paint, or so ive been told.

 

My brothers from out of state, she's been with him for over a year and she's been out of state for a couple of months. People that know her don't know who I am or who's truck it is.

 

What the actual fuck is wrong with people?!? I mean some shit happens and is an accident, fine. Fender bender, parking lot mishap, whatever. This...someone has to look and think "haha I'm gonna fuck this nice truck up." Then do it...then make a second pass cause clearly that wasn't a one-pass job.

 

my guess is he pissed someone off sometime during the move itself. i.e. cut them off, parked where someone else wanted to park or where he shouldn't have etc.

Sadly enough, some people just do some fucked up shit. Just before I moved someone took an ice pick to 3 tires on my 4 runner. I bought a new set and they did it again. I wasn't the only one in the neighborhood. About a week later the cops caught him on yet another return trip in the general neighborhood. Just some guy out to create havoc for no reason. He had to pay us almost $2k for our tires. 2 sets. No telling how much for the other folks.

Not necessarily true, could have just been some drunk kids. I had my mirror kicked off and my hood/door keyed in separate incidents (my former Tacoma). Just what happens living in the city. Either that or they mistook my truck from someone elses that they were beefing with. I never start shit or cause any problems so I know I didn't do anything to trigger it. Also my other friend who lived on the same black had his car's mirror kicked off as well. People can be real dicks.

 

Yep, me too. The night before we departed some ass broke in to the moving van and unloaded a lot of our stuff. As I was standing in the yard talking to the cop he drove by with his buddies. They all got caught after a short chase.
