Solid advice there (pun intended)

 

Anyone ever pre-order something from Amazon? I pre-ordered a CD on Aug 19th. Album gets released today. My order is still "not yet shipped" Album was being sold by Amazon itself when I placed the order. Since then, it's gone out of stock to being sold by 3rd party sellers. Is Amazon good for fulfilling pre-orders?

 

Haven't pre-ordered anything like that for years, but back when I used to have time for video games and before you could just digitally download them, I would pre-order all video games through Amazon and it would be delivered day of release.

 

Has anyone flushed their brake fluid/system, and @ what miles

 

Ideally you do it yearly. Brake fluid is hydrophilic (absorbs water). That being said you could get away with every few years just fine.

For fluids if running Dino every 30k( per the FSM). Synthetic iirc usually around 60k, maybe less depending on use of truck

 

I guess I'm due ... showing 316,000 and I have not done this yet !

 

Typical. Went to throw the mid and tcase skids on at lunch and the damn cat tube protecter bolus bolts are all seized. Snapped 2 right off so thats the end of that for now. Was hoping to get them on for tomorrow, but that doesn't look like it's in the cards

 

My delivery date is now pending. They must have run out of copies.

Brake fluid is one of the most commonly ignored fluids in a vehicle. I try to flush mine out annually but realistically ends up being every other year or 25k mile intervals.

 

Cleaned my MAF sensor and throttle body last night. If you decide to do this remember to disconnect your battery. I didn't and it ran but pretty strange. Disconnected for a while and now it's running great

 

Got my all terrains installed, this photo really shows off the color difference in my passenger side doors

Not my cleanest install ever, but solid. It's not the 2 x 10" subs I had in my youth, but it fills in where needed. I need to fine tune a few things and I'll be good to go. The black wire running out is the volume adjustment knob. The foam was my attempt for some sound deadening to prevent rattles.

 

Also, anyone here do the Cars and Coffee thing?

I'm going to the one this Sunday at Herb Chambers in Hingham to see what they've got there.
