It was good to meet you!

I met a lot of people, but did not get a lot of pictures. Will try and get what I did uploaded tonight.

Only issue I had was a debead on Trail 22, not sure if I will be coming back next year or not, lots of things in the air on that... Hopefully if I do it will be better weather so I can actually get on some good trails. Most of the trails I did were either way to wet or just mainly gravel that turned to sludge. I like more of the rocky stuff, but now that I have a map that is not destroyed like last year... will be planning out some trail runs better for next year if I return. So that I am not always trying to figure out where to go as I never did a guide run as always too many people.

Thanks to @SuperBad for joining from Texas as well and bringing the dog that pretty much everyone wanted to play with. Pretty sure my lady like the dog more than me at the end of the weekend.

 

Thanks for the invite. Even with the weather or was a good time. It did cause me to want to take it easy and the pup made me need to devote a lot of time to taking care of him.

I also want to say thanks to @G.T. for the hospitality and place to hang out in the wet weather!

 

Pressure washing the under side and look what I brought home:

 

Damn that's a pretry big rock. All I brought home was a bunch of dirt.

 

I looked underneath and said damn that's a big one. Got scratches on the sliders and didn't even realize I did it. But man was it fun. Need smaller groups and capable people to ride with next time. @stairgod @tacos33 only blues. No blacks.

We have an idea of the trails now so we don't need any groups next time. 22 and 43 were awesome blues 30 was a decent blue as well we'll be way more up to exploring next time.

43 kicked my ass sat, all i did was the connector Sunday but Kevin took more pics and vids of 22 than anything and it looked like the best trail of the weekend.

 

It was hanging on just like that on the transfer skid and the cross beam.

 

Man there's dinner. Skin it. Then vaccum seal it freeze it. Eat next year.

Yeah it would've made a hell of a bang underneath before it recked havoc on the road. Just with that I'll look under my truck before leaving any wheeling trip again. That would've been bad.

Yeah but have to break it up sometime. But at least they could teach us a few things.

 

Nah. Did blues on Sunday and had a good time. Blues can be fun if they are technical or tight. Both @M192 and myself have long trucks, so that usually adds to the challenge. Next time I am gonna gather a small group and just go exploring. No more guided rides for me.

And too short. Usually wheel 4 hours before lunch. Not 4 hours total for the day.
The late starts and early endings is what did me in.
