What kind of lift did you have and how do you like the ON-road ride quality compared to the stock ride??

I want to get a lift, but dont want to mess up the on-road ride quality. I was thinking of going with the 5100's all the way around and the OME 885's coil lift springs. Anybody running this set up...how do you like the ride??? and some pics would be nice.

Its pretty hard to get a lift and maintain your factory ride. In my opinion, nothing will ride as smooth and quiet as your factory suspension. I have the Icon stage 3 lift, it rides a little firmer on the pavement and I can feel the bumps a bit more. However, having said that, it corners a lot better. Was it worth it to me? Yes for sure. I love the look and the offroad capability a lot more. Now if I could just figure out this damn rattling noise I keep hearing up front....

I have that exact setup. 5100's all around with 885's up front and 2" rear AAL's from Toytec. The ride is a little bit stiffer then stock but to me, it feels more sturdy. So far, no complaints at all on my lift.;)

I have had this setup for about 16 months now and still no problems (knock on wood.) Only thing uneven with mine is the infamous Taco lean but that doesnt bother me. I dont even notice it to be honest.

Toytec coilovers at 2.5" and 1 in block in rear. No difference in ride quality. Will be even more smooth once my rear Bilstein 5100 shocks come in this week.

WW Firefighter what are your billys set at up front? did you have any problems getting it realigned after.

Is anybody putting on new UCA's with there lifts or do you not really need them?

Billy's are set at 0". The springs provide the lift. I added TC UCA's the same time my lift was put on so my alignment is good to go.;)

I have a nearly stock ride, Bilsteins in front and KYB Monomax's and a 1.5 AAL in rear, and I feel like it's better than my stock but it's hard to compare, since my stock when I bought it was all used up.

Just stock height in front. With a cap and a 1.5 rear it sits with just a little bit of a rake.

Went with LR UCAs to get caster back. You can get toe and camber right so tirewear not an issue but drives shitty on uneven surfaces or over grooves in pavement on freeways or in wind. That's if you go 2 or more........

Yeah I think I would to be honest. I dont have any real experience with other lifts but I have no issues with mine so far so I would recommend it to other people.;) Now I dont do any crazy off-roading so I dont know how it would hold up in those situations but for what I do with the truck, its more then good for me.
