Holy crap. That's crazy. Some people have no humanity at all. I'm sorry it happened to you OP.
I had someone hit and run on my parked truck w/o leaving a note. It wasn't fun paying out $500 bucks for somebody elses' hatred.
I have a dashcam running now up all times.

I changed comprehensive to a 100 dollar deductible, it was a 25 dollar difference from what I was paying for my 6 month coverage.

Dang man sorry you're having to deal with all of that. A lot of the time there is some type of provocation when it comes to some jackass vandalizing someone's property, but sometimes its just completely random.

This pales in comparison to your issue, but last week I parked my truck outside of a restaurant to have dinner with my girlfriend (in a really nice part of town). When we walked back out to my truck, I realized that someone had taken all four of my center caps off of my wheels. Naturally I was pretty livid, but then I was kind of thankful I didn't catch them in the act.

Some people have absolutely no respect for others' property, and it really sucks when you work really hard for something and take pride in it.

Good luck with getting everything set right.

Would a change like that limit certain coverage's? I always ask my insurance agent whether I am getting the best rates, and she always replies the same. I'm paying something like $650 for six months I think.

I don't think so, I have the same coverage on my civic from State Farm. Someone broke into my civic, stole my ecu, seats, instrument cluster, airbag tray, and radio. They totaled out my 99 si, paid me out and took 100 dollars for the deductible. This happened st the beginning of this year. I'm paying 715 now, before I changed it, it was 690.

Definitely suspect the girlfriend's acquaintances - I woke up to 4 flat tires when my college friend had a new boyfriend once. Sorry it happened to you.

Some idiot tried to steal gas from my Gen 1 Taco, I had a locking gas cap on it and when he couldn't drill the lock out he went for the gas tank with his little drill - luckily, gas didn't leak out onto his drill, or since the tank was pretty much empty and full of vapor, good he didn't make it pop on him or light himself up.

I've had multiple cars broken into and vandalized when I've stayed the night a some girls house...and that's always been the common denominator.
Tell your brother to have his GF pay your deductible, because I'm betting it's her fault.

My recent Ex-GF lived on a really sketchy street, I am honestly really shocked and thankful that no one ever messed with my truck.

A "real vehicle to be hating on"? Like what, a Rolls Royce or a Lamborghini? It's not about the value of the car, it's about what it means to someone. Value means nothing, there's pricks out there that will be jealous of somebody's $4,000 Civic and it would be no different. This is a BRAND NEW, NICE FUCKING TRUCK; if you don't think so, why are you even on this site?

That sucks! I'm sorry I hate my Subaru keyed at the mall. My mom's car was keyed before. The apartment complex around the corner had over a dozen cars keyed. These assholes have no respect. And then they wonder why they never have nice shit.

Some people aren't very bright. This would likely lead to felony vandalism charges. The person who did this will eventually be caught by someone and either get ground-and-pounded or arrested and charged.

As far as the truck, the shop will have it looking brand new in no time. It just sucks because vehicles just don't feel the same after stuff like this happens.
